Lo Stella Ristorante
Lo Stella Ristorante is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Denver, CO, offering a taste of authentic Italian cuisine in a casual yet intimate setting. From their Insalata Caprese to their homemade Pappardelle al Pesto, each dish is crafted with care and precision, showcasing the flavors of Italy.
As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of trying their Tagliatelle della "Nonna Laura," a dish that was rich in flavor and reminiscent of a homemade meal cooked by a grandmother. The Ravioli di Pesce in Crema di Gamberi was a standout, with delicate fish ravioli swimming in a creamy shrimp sauce.
One of the highlights of Lo Stella Ristorante is their signature Cheese Wheel Pasta, a dish that has garnered attention on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. While I didn't have the chance to try it myself, I couldn't help but notice the rave reviews from customers who praised its cheesy goodness.
Overall, my experience at Lo Stella Ristorante was delightful. The service was exceptional, the ambiance was inviting, and the food surpassed my expectations. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner spot or a casual meal with friends, Lo Stella Ristorante has something for everyone.
If you find yourself in Denver, make sure to pay a visit to Lo Stella Ristorante and indulge in the flavors of Italy that they have to offer.

Decided to give Lo Stella a try for dinner on a whim after seeing all the buzz on TikTok and Instagram about their cheese wheel pasta. While we didn't order that, I was seriously impressed with their pasta dishes! I had the bolognese, and my friend ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce. Both were absolutely delicious, with the pasta cooked to perfect al dente. I have to admit, I ended up eating half of my friend's rigatoni because it was just that good! For starters, we tried the tuna tartar and raclette antipasto. The tuna tartar was light and fresh, definitely my favorite. The raclette was a bit of an oddball for me--interesting but not quite my thing. However, the potatoes in the raclette were delightful! We also devoured a couple of bread baskets. The bread was decent, but I was hoping for fresh-out-of-the-oven bread treats, especially from an Italian place. We went with a party of eight and got a massive 3-liter bottle of cabernet. Totally worth it for the photo ops! After the wine, we switched to spritz, which were perfectly refreshing. The restaurant is small, so it can be a bit tight with a larger group. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Parking is street-only, but the area wasn't busy, so we found a spot right in front. I'm curious to try more appetizers next time, but the pasta really steals the show here. I've seen mixed reviews, but our pasta dishes were a hit. I'll definitely be back for another great plate of pasta. Just a heads-up, it is on the pricey side, with most pasta dishes starting at $29. And let's not forget the tiramisu for dessert! It's one of my all-time favorite desserts, and they nailed it. The perfect blend of mascarpone and coffee, and the giant slice was enough to share with everyone at the table.

I visited Lo Stella with a friend on a Tuesday evening. Which to our delight, it turns out they have happy hour from 4-6pm and offer half priced bottles of wine on Tuesdays! The manager, Luca, was our server. He was great! He was very knowledgeable and patient as I grilled him on the menu and he also helped us narrow our selection to 3 pastas and dessert! He even asked the kitchen to make us the gnocchi special when it wasn't on the menu that evening! We enjoyed the pesto pasta, the Cacio Pepe, and the gnocchi for our entrees, everything was delightful!! I can't wait to come back again and try more off of their menu!

Legit my favorite restaurant in Denver right now! Thanks to IG I discovered this beautiful gem by their cheese wheel pasta video that kept teasing me over and over. We've been now three times and each time I've tried a new dish and each time I've left a very happy lady! Cacio e Pepe is phenomenal- no joke. I'd order it over and over again! The mushroom pasta was incredible... handmade pasta in a white cream sauce. I couldn't leave a noddle left on my plate because it was that good. Recently we went with the in-laws and luckily I preordered that incredible carbonara gnocchi for my mother in law and one for me. Holy hell. That was magical. Should be illegal. I'm not kidding. The service is amazing and the restaurant is quant and homey. I love that we can bring the kiddos and order them bread and gelato and they are happy. They are super picky eaters but this is a place we can bring the family and have a fun, comfortable and enjoyable dinner. We recently went on a Wednesday when they had the wine deal which of course we partaked in!! 50% off wine!!! Hell yes!
